This month, we’re excited to spotlight one of the newest members of the Proper Sky IT helpdesk support team: Mary Kate (MK).
MK brings eight years of IT support experience, including prior work with a wide range of companies and MSP experience. Her calm, solutions-focused approach and commitment to delivering exceptional IT support immediately make an impact on our clients. She enjoys solving technical challenges that help organizations work more efficiently—a mindset that aligns perfectly with our mission to provide IT The Proper Way.
MK values Proper Sky’s focus on community, employee recognition, and IT career development. She appreciates the collaborative, supportive culture of her team at Proper Sky and thrives in an environment that emphasizes professional growth and workplace culture.
Outside of work, MK channels her passion for medieval reenactment through the Society for Creative Anachronism. She dedicates her evenings and weekends to fencing, a discipline she has pursued for nearly four years. Recently earning the Silver-level award (congrats, MK!), she hopes to achieve the highest honor of Knighthood one day. Beyond the thrill of historical recreation, she enjoys the sense of community—and even the food crafted from historical recipes.
