How is co-managed IT different from full service managed IT?

Co-managed IT services are a good fit for organizations who already have an internal IT department. Typically, this plan works well for medium size organizations, with 75+ employees, including an IT Manager or technician. With co-managed IT you still have access to our team of helpdesk engineers, project engineers, ticketing system and more, but all support requests are funneled through or escalated by your internal IT team. With co-managed, we typically do not interface with your end-users, your internal IT team is the liaison between and does that hands on work.

In a co-managed IT service, how are responsibilities delegated?

There are many ways to do this, but the answer is ‘it depends’ on your unique needs. Do you need help in a specialized area of IT, like cloud management or cybersecurity? Do you have someone on your IT team who can lead the strategic IT initiatives but could use some support handling the grunt work or network maintenance? Depending on your unique needs we can either fulfill strategic deliverables or help maintain infrastructure and provide escalation support as needed.

How much do co-managed IT services cost?

Like fully managed IT, comanaged is priced by a monthly flat fee per device. However, co-managed IT requires less resources, splitting some of the work with your internal IT team, so we’re able to offer this service for a fraction of the cost of fully managed IT.
