This month we’re thrilled to introduce you to Philip on the helpdesk support team.
Role at Proper Sky
When you call into Proper Sky, Philip is one of the first people you’ll speak to help get your issue or request documented and resolved. And lucky for you, Philip is the type of person you want on the other end of the line when you’re having an issue. His patience and communication style are second to none!
How’d you get into IT?
Philip has been with Proper Sky for well over a year now and comes to us with a strong customer service background and love for IT. Growing up, technology was always easy for Philip, he was the “IT guy” for all his family and friends, which is what steered him on this career path.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Philip has a lust for learning, if he doesn’t know how to do something, he enjoys the challenge of figuring it out and then teaching those around him how he did it. This problem-solving mentality is something we strongly value here at Proper Sky.
What caught you by surprise when you joined Proper Sky?
The camaraderie of the team and willingness of everyone to step up and help really stood out to him.
What do you do in your spare time?
Philip is a music lover of all genres, with a very eclectic (and growing) vinyl collection. One of his favorites is trip-hop / lo-fi which he has introduced to the team here and plays often around the office. As an avid gamer and anime fan, Philip is drawn to the Japanese culture, and currently planning a trip to Japan in the fall. If you have any must-do or must-see tips for him, shoot him a message.
